(More customer reviews)I purchased two of these Waterford goblets as an engagement gift for my youngest daughter. They are truly beautiful. The "ballet ribbon" design makes for a simple yet elegant embellishment for the bowl of the glass ... but do not be fooled ... these red wine goblets are large and hold at least 20 oz. of wine. The stems appear to be very delicate, but that is totally misleading. They are sturdy, heavy-weight, leaded crystal, not delicate, easily broken glasses!
My daughter and her fiance have decided NOT to take the crystal to their wedding reception because they are afraid something will happen to them during the rush of the evening. Instead, they have opted to use them every time they toast a momentous occassion in their lives. They also plan on displaying them as what they refer to as "pieces of art!"
I am pleased and very happy to have selected these Ballet Ribbon Crystal Goblets for their engagement!
