(More customer reviews)I was looking to replace the keyboard for my Dell Inspiron 1525 because my old keyboard was starting to break.
I found this keyboard because it was the lowest price at the time out of any other keyboard for my computer.
Installation was easy! Pop out the front panel, then take out the two screws that keep the keyboard in place, then replace keyboard and screw back in and done!
Works straight out of the box, no need to download any special drivers at all.
The texture on the keyboard as well makes it easier to type, and also hides grease or dirt a little bit better than the stock silver keyboard.
I would recommend this replacement keyboard to anybody! It also came fast! One day earlier than expected, and only took two days total for me to receive the keyboard instead of the listed 3-5 days.
Great buy, great product, and came nicely shipped from a great company! Overall great buy.

Laptop Keyboard for Dell Inspiron 6000 9200 9300 Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)1. the ribbon cable on the keyboard looks to the side of it, whereas in my inspiron 9300 the connector is at the bottom of the keyboard. Had to twist the cable a little to get it to the connector slot.
2. the keyboard didn't quite close down after doing this, because the ribbon cable wouldn't fold
3. It didn't work, anyway...probably a defective unit.
on the native keyboard the ribbon cable goes straight down, directly to the connector slot.

NEW KEYBOARD FOR DELL INSPIRON 1501 E1505 E1705 630M Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I received my shipment quickly surprisingly, but after looking it over today I realized I was sent the wrong keyboard. I was sent a keyboard for my Dell Inspiron but not the one I ordered. Amazon has two keyboards for Inspiron the "Dell Keyboard for Select Inspiron Laptops" and what I ordered which was New Keyboard for Dell Inspiron E1705. The picture displayed doesn't even match what I have. How do I know I received the wrong product? The back of the keyboard is different (Had holes instead of being smooth) and the black is more mat colored. I'm extremely upset.

Genuine and new Dell Inspiron:1420 1520 1526 1525 1540 1545 notebook keyboard US Layout black Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I needed a new keyboard after an accident with my 10 year old child and a glass of juice. After many attempts at cleaning it, the space bar is still sticking. I received the new keyboard from PWR+ in 4 days. It seems to be an exact match for my Inspiron 1545. The look, touch, and feel is exactly like the original. I'm using it now to type this and all is good.

Dell laptop Keyboard for Inspirion 630M, 640M, 6400, 9400, E1405, E1505, E1705, XPS M140, XPS M1710. Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)A laptop was given to me and the user told me they spilled on the keyboard. I booted up and certain keys would not respond (A,S,W,D) but the rest worked perfectly. I tried cleaning the keyboard, but that was no good. I bought this keyboard and the laptop works like new.
Note: The hint for me that it was the keyboard that was bad and not the keyboard controller on the motherboard was the fact that all of the working keys were actually functioning correctly. There were just a few that weren't working at all. If your keyboard has experienced a spill and you have similar symptoms, replace the keyboard for sure. However, if you type on your keyboard and you get crazy, unexpected characters, you've likely fried a chip on your motherboard and replacing the keyboard WOULD PROBABLY NOT DO YOU ANY GOOD. Good Luck!
