After spilling soda on the keyboard, I was unable to use the letters "b" and "n," and had to resort to the onscreen keyboard when they were needed, a significant inconvenience. The computer was over 2 years old, but still a good computer.
I paid around $18 for the keyboard and shipping. It arrived by USPS and packaged as follows: The keyboard was wrapped in a plastic sleeve/bag, then in a FedEx document envelope (a tight fit), which was folded over to where the keyboard size was the size of the envelope. The envelope was wrapped with around 5 layers of bubble wrap (small bubbles, not large), and then placed in a vinyl shipping envelope. I found no issues with the condition of the keyboard, and finding that the keyboard does flex some, it was probably a successful means of shipping most of the time. However, if the packaging had found itself in a tight location, it could have flexed and damaged the keyboard. A box would have been a more suitable shipping option, not to mention the time and effort taken to package the keyboard. I purchase at least a few dozen items a year over the internet, and this is the first instance where there was no shipping information inside the package, or instruction on what to do in the event I had any problems, additionaly, the item has no instructions or information with it.
I had already determined how to disassemble the computer and replace the keyboard by instruction I found posted by an individual on the internet, which I followed precisely, and the entire replacement took less than fifteen minutes. I worked slowly, and someone who with more ambition and more familiar with disassembling notebook computers could have easily completed the task in under five minutes. The most difficult part is attaching the cable, which is fragile, but most should be able to do this. Upon reassembly, my computer worked fine, and the keyboard is as good or better than the original. I don't know what the cost would have been to have taken the computer to a repair location locally, but I venture to say it would have been more than double what I paid for the keyboard.

If you can replace a light bulb, and can use a screwdriver, this should not be the challenge you might think it would be. On a scale of 1 to 10, 10 being the most difficult, I'd rate this repair a 4...
I'm rating this a 5, although I was tempted to give it a 4 due to packaging concerns and lack of information from the company in the package, but give it a 5 as I feel the value is good, and the keyboard works extremely well, at least at the time of this writing...
