For Hp DV9000 DV9400 DV9500 DV9700 Laptop Keyboard black Review

(More customer reviews)I purchased this keyboard to replace an old keyboard that had a missing key. This keyboard looked and felt exactly as the old one, and was super easy to install (I used the laptop's (HP) instruction manual which was on their website). I was quite happy with this purchase from the quality to ease of installation.

Laptop Keyboard for HP Pavilion DV6000 DV6100 DV6200 DV6300 DV6400 DV6500 DV6600 Series, HP Compaq Presario V6200 V6300 V6400 V6500 Series Review

(More customer reviews)After my cat decided to use my laptop (Compaq V6000) as his own "hot spot"... and then proceeded to take several keys with him when I picked him up; I needed a replacement. This keyboard was a perfect fit.
Now then, if you're wondering about how much fun this is to install, I'd say plenty. If you're good at marking down where every screw came from and can feel around for anything you missed (easy to do) without getting frustrated and just yanking, you'll do fine. Otherwise, buy this keyboard and take it to a repair shop, you'll probably save quite a bit on the repair if you already have the part (I've worked for repair shops and they usually like to mark everything up a little). It took me maybe half-an-hour to pop the old one out and get the new one in. Worked perfectly first try, no complaints at all!

New Hp Pavilion Dv9000 Keyboard 441541-001 Us Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)Perfectly fits into the computer and works well, but the key assemblies are flimsy compared to the OEM product. Works flawlessly, just not good if you need to take keys off to clean under them. The keyboard does sink down around the L key, but is not noticeable unless you look for it. For less than half the price of HP's replacement, EXTREMELY satisfying!

Original HP DV6000 DV6500 DV6700 DV6800 431414-001 keyboard Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)I got this doubting just how much of a perfect fit it would be for my HP DV6000 notebook, but I'm very happy to say that not only do the keys look exactly as the original, but the size and feel of the keyboard is exactly as it should be. I was surprised at how cheap this whole keyboard was when some online retailers sell each key replacement for $6/7 a pop. If you're an owner of the DV6000, you know how the keys get that worn out shiny gross look and you should be very happy to know that this is your solution. Only thing is that it does NOT come with instructions on how to replace it, however I did find an HP instructional manual on how to remove/replace parts, so contact me if you would like to obtain that. It takes about 15 minutes to do it carefully while you keep track of the several screws you need to work with. But it's definitely worth the effort.
