You really don't have much of a choice of what to use. If you need this, then you need it.
Just remember that ALL your information of everything that gives you a paper copy is on the used cartridge. So, if it's important or sensitive material, you don't want it to become public information. You'll be lucky if you have a fire place so it can be destroyed.
As for me, I'm an apartment dweller so I shred the whole damn thing.
