(More customer reviews)This was my first replacement ribbon for the Primera Signature-Z thermal disk printer. While a bit taken aback at the cost of these things - I found the removal of the original ribbon cartridge and the replacement with the new one to be rather straight-foreward and easy.
While available in several other colors, the printer, itself, only can use one at a time - so, to print multi-colors on disks, one would have to remove and replace cartridges mid-process. A nuisance at least - a reminder of the relative (over?) simplicity of the printer design itself. In any event, the black looks fine on all my projects - although, as I pointed out in my review of the printer itself, the print does not adhere flawlessly to any area on the disk that is embossed. On my existing supply of name-brand embossed disks, I have had to experiment with exact placement of the print to avoid the embossed areas. Since using this printer more regularly, however, I have taken to buying plain, non-embossed white thermal printable CDr_Rs and DVD-Rs.
The print result on these,I am pleased to say, is PERFECT!
