(More customer reviews)After fighting metal tomato cages for 25 years, we decided to put out the money for something that would handle our 6 foot high hybrid plants. This product is exactly what we were looking for. It will certainly handle high growth. Better yet, the material and construction make it a reasonable purchase. These, we bought two, have the feel of a product that will outlast a dozen metal cages. They are made to accommodate a high growing plant gradually. There are adjustments that allow an initial height of four feet and can simply (we mean simply) be made to grow in height as the plant grows. If there is anything to be said that could be thought of as negative, it would be the poor set of directions which consists only of pictures. Nothing is written. The pictures, part of the packing, are very poor. It's hard to believe they are intended to be instruction illustrations. The first cage was built by trial an error. The second set then, was built in a matter of minutes. Regardless of directions, these are wonderful tomato cages, especially for tall varieties. They may seem highly priced but will become inexpensive after years of re-use. We wouldn't suggest buying these unless you plan to harvest tomatoes over the years. The price prohibits use for one crop, one year.
