These seemed brighter and I never had any issues with the batteries or the compartment. Like I said in another review, the seller really made this transaction great. They were very timely and offered to ship my lights very quick for no charge. Definitely recommend both the seller and the lights, especially for the price. Keep in mind the title "ribbon", as the physical light rope very much resembles a ribbon. I liked it, and it has a very cool shine that would be good for certain costumes and decorations.
