(More customer reviews)I use these every year and they work well in my home. I change them every month even though the package says they are effective longer. Not that mine are coated with flying pests- I would rather look at a clean one than one with bugs on it.
Here in the South, many people have them- guests notice them but its something you don't comment on, like seeing a screen door.
This spring I've gone looking for them and they haven't come into the stores yet, which is an inconvenience to me. I took my banana plants in to over winter in the house and the gnats came with them and have been driving me to distraction. I found glue mouse traps work, but are less effective.
I pulled out my last two strips hidden in the back of a drawer and hung them- the first one had gnats on it before I got finished.
I'll find them online somewhere, because the shipping of over $5 is more than the dollar-and-change price tag.
If you want to get rid of flies, mosquitoes and gnats (which I think will be a huge problem this year because of the weather), these strips will do the job.
This fall, I'll make sure I stock up and have enough to spring.
