(More customer reviews)this castle is a beautiful piece for stand alone in a small tank or with other pieces in a large tank. the open interior is ideal for live plants to take root or for small fish to find dark shelter. from new this is a nice looking castle and maintains its looks for years to come. injection molded and hand painted to a natural look and feel. we use this castle in a small(10 gal.) tank with live plants and tetras(small generic fish). make sure and always give the water plenty of time to aclimate Ph, temp, O2 and micro-bacteria after all ornamwnts and rock are in for at least two weeks before adding fish and plants to promote health and longevity of life in your tank as some ornaments and/or rock adjust these levels and can stress or harm fish. make sure and physically measure your tank or area before purchasing pieces to avoid crowding.
