(More customer reviews)This HiTi printer is currently performing very well in my photo booth setup. 4x6 printing is fast and reliable and image quality is great. Color is vivid and tends to the red side when left on default "HiTi Classic Color" (manual adjustment is also available). 5x7 size slows down considerably. Had some trouble installing and the printer feels the need to reinstall itself every so often (I once had 4 instances of the printer installed on my Win7 laptop). This is my first dye sub and I purchased mainly because of the price but it was a vast improvement over ink jet printing (even though cost per print is about the same). Prints are virtually waterproof and it is compact enough for the mobile application I current use. I have not had any experience with the Sony dye subs so I can't compare. I have not tried the wireless transmitter yet, instruction manual for this seems daunting. Supplies are easy to get from the manufacturer.
