(More customer reviews)The item was brand new. I had to take it to Staples to have it installed into the Laptop. However, you should be able to install it yourself if you're comfortable replacing parts in your computer. It works great, and is surely a lot cheaper than buying a new Laptop. My computer looks brand new again.
